CAN YOU USE ULTRASOUND CLEANING WITHOUT ANAESTHETIC?
An ultrasound toothbrush is appropriate for dogs of all ages and breeds. Due to the different size attachments the toothbrush can be used on puppies, small, medium and large breeds.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TARTAR AND PLAQUE?
Plaque is a soft, clear or yellow film of bacteria that sits of the surface of the tooth or on the gum line and can be removed with brushing. If plaque sits on the teeth too long, it hardens to create tartar. This usually has a darker brown/ black in colour. Ultrasound technology can break this tartar down and remove it. The number of sessions needed will depend on the condition of the teeth.
